Caring Combination Skin

The combination skin is most prevalent. It is partly oily down the centre of the face with a greasy forehead, nose, and chin in a t-shaped pattern.
The rest of the face especially the cheeks, around the eyes and sometimes around the mouth and on the throat are usually dry to normal. This is due to the grouping of the glands and the difference in their acuity.

The sunlight which may help to dry the greasy area may harm the dry area’s.
The skin care for the combination skin is a sum of both dry and oily care method.
Both areas need different treatment continually. If dry areas are treated as for oily skin, chances are that they may become excessively dry and result in wrinkles and lines and if greasy areas is treated as for dry skin, they will become over nourished and end up in open pores, spots and blemishes.

Care of Combination skin:
Cleansing and Toning:
In the morning wash your face with warm water and good cleansing foam. Message on the centre panel of the face in round circular movements for few seconds’ particular attention to the nostrils and chin. Rinse several times and finish with a cold splash.
Apply astringent lotion on a pad of cotton wool squeezed in water. Apply on the t zone and the dry areas. These dry areas will be helped by the application of moisturizer under the powder base.
Evening wash your face as in the morning and cleanse with cleansing lotion. wipe it off carefully, apply a moisturizer but leave the centre panel.let the cream be for about 20 mnts and then tissue it off. This should be done 2 to 3 times a week, depending how dry the skin feels.
